How we started?
Actually, it happened so quickly. I was doing many things to serve the Sri Lankan deaf community from my end. I was the president for “Ruhunu Sumaga Circle of Deaf” and I utilized my knowledge via that organization to serve the Sri Lankan Deaf Community.
I was doing many software & DVD productions to serve the Deaf kids & other Deaf friends. Also I was about to begin some Spiritual Development programs to the Deaf Buddhists by join hand with the founders of “The Project Nirvana Dhamma”. For that we needed a place to record our videos and do the editing and other related things.
As I already had a separated office at home for my ventures, I thought of turning it in to a Video Production House to make my ventures professional.
Then I shared the idea with my friends and supporters Rajitha & Chandrashanth who are the supporters of spiritual development programs. I was decided a good time for the opening but had no idea of a name for it. Then Chandrashanth suddenly came up with the name of “Ahanna (listen)” and we 3 quickly design a logo together just few hours before the opening event. The name board & and the banners also designed so quickly and we were ready for the event, like it was planned few months ago... Actually, I am so popular to do things at last minutes and I always get in to troubles with that bad habit too.
But this time it worked so well and I am proud of it!
